Hosted web server in Linz

General information

The hosted web server in Linz is hosted by Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria. This server can be accessed from the www.geogebra.org server (uni.lu) via ssh by using ak113712 user towards the 140.78.3.18 host. VPN connection is also available. The login password was sent to Florian, Michael, Yves and Zoltan by Markus on 2011-03-02.

The server is a virtual SuSE Enterprise Linux 10.3 (kernel 2.6.16.60-0.76.8-smp, 64 bit) on a dual Intel Xeon (2x3 GHz) with 4 GB physical + 4 GB virtual RAM (swap). It reports to have a Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5708 Gigabit Ethernet card.

No root access is available, the tech management of JKU must be asked to install additional packages if required.

Apache2 is already installed. MySQL is running (but no login seems to be created for us yet).
